Welcome back to my blog guys!
Here I would like to share about the reader’s point of view from journal I selected, the titled of the journal is Teaching Report Writing Skills through Communicative Activities.


The question is “what is the reader’s point of view?”

And the answer is because this journal was created with the aim that students, teachers, college students, so they can write reports using inexpensive Communicative Activities to improve students' writing skills in writing professional reports.
I as a reader, after reading this journals get an idea of ​​how good report writing and in this case the author explains how to teach report writing skills using communicative activities so as to make me understand and understand how the method of the author and what mistakes we should be avoided.
Because writing a report that I think is difficult to do and often make mistakes in writing, that's the reason why I chose this journal because I want to be able to write reports properly.
      I personally want to say thank you to the author who has given us new knowledge in writing report skills.

Here I would like to share about what is the author’s main argument and the author reasons for his/her main argument from journal I selected, the titled of the journal is Teaching Report Writing Skills through Communicative Activities.


The first questions is “what is the author’s main argument?”
            In this journal, the authors describe the skills of report writing and explain how to design communicative activities to teach certain skills. The authors suggest methodologies and techniques that meet the needs and interests of teachers who teach technical subjects such as Report Writing Skills. This journal also emphasizes the types of problems students face when learning to write technical form writing reports. In scientific report writing, it is natural for them to find difficulties and make similar mistakes. Like grammatical errors, writing styles are wrong because there is no exposure and experience writing reports or technical documents before. Well, in this journal the author explains how to teach Report Writing Skills using Communicative Activities that are not expensive to improve students' writing skills in writing professional reports.


The second questions is ”explain the author reasons for his/her main argument?”
The author reasons wrote this journal is to prove that communicative activities are very helpful in teaching technical writing like report writing skills. This approach creates interest in the subject for the students. They become more creative in writing. The overall performance is better when students are taught with the help of communicative activities. The number of failure cases in the subject contracts to zero. The classroom activities in pairs/groups with the help of audio/visual aids and other facilities like language laboratory, library and internet makes students more independent and efficient in writing. The students have thorough knowledge of the report writing procedure and its various components. They are able to write both short and long reports individually. They can compose other documents related to report writing skills such as memorandum, letter, brochure, office notes and email quite efficiently too.

Here I would like to share about who is the author and who is the audience from journal I selected, the titled of the journal is Teaching Report Writing Skills through Communicative Activities.

First questions is who is the author?

The author of journal I selected is Sadaf Fatima. She is a lecturer and a Humanities from Department of Humanities COMSATS  in Institute of Information Technology Lahore, Pakistan.

In  2009, she write one conference papers that is "The Challenges of Teaching Business English to Multilingual Audiences in Pakistan". And in 2006 she also write one conference papers that is "Multilingual Society and English Language Teaching: A Study of Pakistan".

The second questions is, who is the audience from the journal?

The answer is, the audience of the journal I selected is Universy of Pakistan especialy business students, besides that in the journal, the author said in the journal that she make this journal for teachers and students is expected to be able to perform report writing skills. And also to avoid grammatical errors, the writing style is wrong because there is no exposure and experience writing reports or technical documents before. In addition, this journal is to teach Report Writing Skills using inexpensive Communicative Activities to improve students' writing skills in writing professional reports.
